Jan. 16th The Island is named after a ship not because it is full of carcasses.   One person owns a good part of the Island and the rest is owned by the government (National Park).  To visit Carcass Island we used the tenders to land and walked across a narrow part of the island to a beach area that had penguins.  Then there was a 5 mile walk to the owners home and our pick up point.  A little longer walk than we expected.  The information we had indicated it was a 5 mile round trip walk,  2.5 mile one way.  A number of fitness trackers showed 5 miles one way but the wonderful views made it all worth while.
