Jan. 17th – Our ship anchored off of New Island in the Falkland Island.  We used the tender boats to shore and a small dock landing near the owners home.   It was about a mile walk to a cliff on the other side of the island to view different birds, (penguins included) nesting together.  There was another much longer walk that included up and down over two large hills with the possibility os viewing seals. I don’t know if there were seals, but I know there are no seal photos included.  This was an activity for individuals younger that me.   This was our last stop before heading home.  We arrived home on the 20th, three days later.  This was an amazing trip and we were so lucky with the weather.
