Scenic Phuket and Elephant Camp
Drive to Elephant Camp and spend about an hour with the elephants. Wonderful – elephants were very friendly. Next we drove to the Chalong temple and spent about 45 min. We chose to not go into the temple building rather to visit all of the buildings exterior. The final two stops were a bust. The visit to a cashew nut factory turned out to really just be a store selling cashew products with a small demonstration exhibition. The stop at a local souvenir shop turned out to be a massive international store selling expensive jewels not souvenirs.
