May 17th 2023 – Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt – Bedouin Camp Jeep Safari
Yesterday we were Jeep 7 out of 7. Today we were Jeep 10 out of 23 + two administration vehicles. Totally different experience.
Sharm el-Sheikh is a resort town with holiday hotel complexes on the beach. The desert area is a national park. We made three stops. One at a beach area that had mangroves. A second stop at a small museum with bathrooms and final stop for a Bedouin show.. We drove past Bedouin camps but we never stopped at one. To arrive at the Bedouin show we drove through the mountains and arrived at a site that had about 4 camels if you wanted a ride one. – We were fed the same flat bread and tea as at the Bedouin Camp the day before.
